The Old Fashioned is all about balance: just the right amount of sweetness, depth, and character in one deceptively simple glass. This version leans into those classic roots but adds a smooth undercurrent of espresso flavor with our Coffee Extract. No brewing, no fuss. It’s the kind of cocktail you can build with confidence after dinner or just because the evening calls for something a little richer.
The Coffee Extract deepens the cocktail’s flavor by enhancing the warmth of the bourbon and bringing out its subtle notes of chocolate, spice, and oak. It’s especially welcome in cooler seasons, though frankly, it holds its own year-round. Keep it classic with an orange peel, or twist things further by swapping in a coffee-infused simple syrup for extra depth. Either way, this drink is proof that a few good ingredients and a little care go a long way.
