Ingredients:226g (2 sticks) salted butter, softened
200g (1 cup) brown sugar 100g (½ cup) granulated sugar 2 large eggs
312g (2½ cups) all-purpose flour 1½ tsp baking soda
Generous pinch of salt 100g sourdough discard
1 tsp Andrea’s Bakehouse Vanilla Extract
½ tsp Andrea’s Bakehouse Coffee Extract 226g (1⅓ cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
126g (⅔ cup) dark chocolate bar, chopped
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 2–3 minutes.
4. Add in the egg sourdough discard, egg yolk. Mix until incorporated.
5. Add in vanilla extract and coffee extract (insert hyperlink).
6. Stir in the dry ingredients just until incorporated.
7. Stir in the chocolate chips and chunks.
8. Scoop into 2-Tbsp portions and chill for 30 minutes or overnight (preferred).
