Ingredients
1 lb carrots, peeled and cut into sticks or coins
2 tbsp salted butter
2 tbsp Andrea’s Bakehouse Vanilla Brown Sugar
½ cup water or vegetable broth
½ tsp kosher salt (or to taste)
Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste Garnish with thyme
Instructions Cook the carrots:
In a large skillet, add carrots and water or broth. Cover and cook over medium heat for 6–8 minutes, until carrots are just tender but not mushy. Remove lid and let any remaining liquid cook off.
Glaze:
